I have the høneur te inform Your Excellency
that I am in receipt of a telegram from His Majesty's Minister
at Peking to the following effect:-
"A telegram has been received from the
Toreign Office stating that, as at present advised, it would
seem that the Governor-General was justified in declining to
extradite the fugitive Liang Teu, and that the case must be
tried in China as was done in the Hung murder case".
